I re-watched Part 3 in a Christmas horror marathon last year and it was way better than I remembered. Haven't seen the other two since they first came out, though.

I'll pick this up, I've never seen 3, 4, or 5 and I'm a huge fan of 1 and 2.

I just wish AB somehow had a way on their double feature disc to watch part 2 without seeing all the repeat scenes from part 1. Like half of the running time is clips from the first film! The new footage is great, but it's a total pain to sit through all that repeat footage, especially if you're watching the two films in a row.

Is part two nearly as sleazy as part one? I felt so dirty after the first 20 minutes of that movie. I do love the DVD section with all the reviews of the film.

Still as a Jew, I still want a Menorah Massacre film.

Well, part 2 contains much of the sleaze from part 1 just edited into it haha. The new footage? Might even be sleazier in some ways. If you like SNDN, see part 2. It's fun.

I thought my SNDN collection was going to be incomplete since I don't own a copy of Part 2. But if its composed mostly of clips of the first film then I can live without it.

It IS made up mostly of clips from part 1, but the new stuff in part 2 is well worth seeing.

Yeah, Silent Night Deadly Night 2, and Criminally Insane 2 are no bueno. I'm putting my shoes on, because I'm running from 3 thru 5!! hahaha

Crazy! I've never seen this artwork for SNDN before...pretty wild.

I watched part 5 last year....I'd done my own VHS-DVD "cleanup" on it. In fact, that seems to be the way to get these old rarities to get official releases....spend a bunch of time transferring and cleaning them up from VHS. Whenever I do, the official seems to follow soon after just to spite me

Anyways, I'm glad these are finally coming out. They'll never touch the first one, but they'll still be great to finally have on DVD.
