Haven't seen it since it first was released and was very unimpressed. It was the worst Stephen King adaptation to that point. I should revisit it. Our tastes and viewpoints change. Buy having said that, I don't see the point in remaking every fucking cult film!! What is next, remake remakes???? Do John Carpenters's The Thing with his fucking name on it??????? It just sucks, you have this special cult film that you recomend to people, and they remake it. It just isn't the same anymore. This particular film Children of the Corn can be improved upon in dozens of different ways, but I still think it is better off to leave it be. Very old films (1920's - 1950's) make much more sense in remaking because styles in directing, censorship, and acting styles have dated so much. But in even in these cases unique ahead of their time films like Freaks, Eyes Without A Face, Curse (Night) of the Demon, etc, should be left to stand on their own.
