Been waiting a long time for TWD, this is the best news bit so far this year!

Re: Karloff & Lugosi Horror Classics

I've got great boots of all of these, but I'm definitely gonna upgrade regardless. I can't wait, particularly, for the anamorphic FRANKENSTEIN 1970, as my copy is full-frame.

Now, let's hope Warner also releases a couple of double features like they did last year.

And what's up with that new TCM horror collection that's a total rehash (FREAKS, THE HAUNTING, DR. JEKYLL AND MR. HYDE, and HOUSE OF WAX)??? Couldn't they have given us some they hadn't released before, like BEAST WITH FIVE FINGERS, THE MYSTERIOUS DOCTOR, THE SMILING GHOST, or FINGERS AT THE WINDOW, etc?

Looking forward to those commentaries, having some of Mank's great books. Btw, I'm used to the German dubbed version of TWD only.

He's really good. Knowledgeable without being boring.

Re: Karloff & Lugosi Horror Classics

nice set... though I have vague memories of watching Frankenstein 1970 on TV and being let down.

I like to see Lorre doing comedy.

Even though I have a scope dvd-r of Frankenstein 1970 I'm still going to pick up an official release of this.

Can't wait for this. The Walking Dead is long overdue on DVD. Now if we could only get Island of Lost Souls and Murders in the Zoo...

Also looking forward to it.

Lorre cracks me up sometimes. He had a nice flair for comedy.

The movie's pretty dire, but Lorre IS funny in it. I saw it not too long ago and he's the highlight.

I don't know, Wayne; I thought the dog with the stick of dynamite stole the film...
