Man, this is great news. Having volume 2 and 3, plus the volume 1-titles individually, i know this is quality stuff. The backside, however, is that several of the titles are comedies. I much more preferred the rough, tough, hard as steel, fast paced, full-blooded gangster titles like Little Caesar and Public Enemy.

The Little Giant is a nice little gem.

Re: WB Gangster Collection Volume 4

I remember seeing Kid Galahead on TV with the title The Battling Bellhop. Great movie, though really more of a boxing comedy.

And Larceny Inc also great, but again a funny comedy. Robinson could do comedy well, too. They should have just made a light hearted crime set.

The real classic gangster stuff was in the first set. Not to be picky, they do a nice job with these and lead the pack in terms of getting the classics, and not so classics out.

Any word on another Noir set?
