Re: Thirst(Park Chan-Wook)
Thanks Al. I thought that it was only playing on July 10th and July 31st in San Francisco. It seems that it is playing three times per day starting on July 31st. I'll probably be able to check this out now as long as I can convince the wife to see this.

Re: Thirst(Park Chan-Wook)
I saw this movie about a month ago in the theaters. I really enjoyed it. I was surprised how much comedy was mixed in the film. It is a very different experience than the Vengeance Trilogy, but I thought it was a refreshingly different kind of Vampire movie. I'll definitely be picking up this movie when it comes to disc. I'm waiting for the Blu-ray though.

I liked it. It was very unique in a lot of ways, and I loved the end.

Re: Thirst(Park Chan-Wook)
I just watched the BluRay of this and totally loved it. The best 'vampire' film I've seen since I dunno, 'martin'?
But its really Fresh in how it handles the whole Catholic aspect, the existential aspect, the guilt aspect, the love aspect, the lust aspect and then the whole morality of it all. I expect a crappy America remake no-doubt, but I imagine that whole 'true blood' show is already ripping big chunks of thematic squall from this movie. Oh and i enjoyed this alot more than the 'let the right one in', which to be honest I'v completely forgotten about.
