I ended up paying close to $40 bucks for an old VHS of it, last year. I had no idea there was a WB archives, and if the picture is good sounds like it might be worth upgrading. Just spent some money pre-ordering Criterion's "America Lost & Found- The BBS story" which sounds like the best boxset ever!

I would love to see that, but I don't think Eric will regret ordering ISIS, either.

Well, the Warner Archives "Maids" disc came out just recently, and yes, the quality is definately swanky, kinda weird though a DVD-R costing 24.95, but ya gotta do what ya gotta do, they've got some oddball shit in that collection, so far I've bought "Bad Ronald, "Don't be Afriad of the Dark," "The Deliberate Stranger (Ted Bundy TV MOW)," "The Deadly Tower (a 20-something Kurt Russell playing Charles Whitman, the UT Austin sniper!)," "The Todd Killings," "The Stranger Within," whew, the list goes on...anyhoo, check it out.

And yeah, I just pre-ordered the Criterion "BBS" boxset too AND already waiting for Part II! Slober, drooool...

Ditto, now I GOTTA see this one too, it sounds vedy vedy interesting! And 2 seasons of JoAnne as Isis running around in that skimpy outfit will, I guarantee, NOT be a regret, even if it is a kids show...um, kinda like "Wonder Woman," I used to watch that as a kid, completely oblivious to the plot, waiting impatiently for Lynda Carter to get a-runnin' and start a-jigglin', hahaha!

Her Eurasian sidekick in the first season is pretty easy on the eyes, too (with apologies to the second season sidekick.) There are some cool guest stars, too, IIRC, although the only one that comes to mind is Colleen Camp, and I'm not even 100% sure of that. It might have been a special dream I had once.

I don't mind the grindhouse look the Redeemer has - I actually prefer it - but this disc needed to be a fully loaded SE. The notoriety of the film alone merits one.

Last Warner archive I bought was "One on One" and I rather enjoyed the movie but hated the bootleg feel of it. Like the studio was selling bootleg copies. A chapter stop every ten minutes, however it looks like some of these titles I can't pass up on. "The Deadly Tower" sounds pretty cool, Russell is a very underrated actor. You would think "The Deliberate Stranger" would be a reg. release since it is one of the best TV movies ever made. I'm gonna check this out, and I look forward to seeing "Bad Ronald" in "Rivals" next week. :-)

I was wondering if there was any news on "Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker?"

I was just throwin' that out, I really have no idea about a Part II (guess it depends on how well this one sells)...but I'm a hopin' and-a-prayin' they do a second set!

At this point I am more interested in seeing, "Butcher, Baker, Nightmare Maker" more than "Nightmares," and I may be the minority in that I know. Just been reading so many reviews about "Butcher" saying what a great horror movie it is that I have to see it.

To Jocke A, "Light Blast" is alot of fun and worth picking up.

I thought Butcher was not a good movie. With that being said, I would still buy it. Cinematically it is all over the place, just a mess

Nightmare on the other hand, is a great film

Oh, I've already seen it. It's a blast. I was more interested in the quality of the release
