Season one, on DVD.
Kip and Henry were cool. Funny show.
Box has disclaimer on back, something to the effect of: some music has been changed and some episodes may have been edited from original network broadcast. WTF?!? Is this for real or just the ultimate in ass-covering? I will pass on this purchase until I am certain the episodes are complete.
Did they use any "real" songs on the original show?
- Smelling of death since 1976!

Well, the theme song was by Billy Joel.Originally Posted by Joe N.

Still curious what material was cut out. Are these shorter syndi-cuts, as was perpetrated on ALF, COSBY SHOW and whatever else? Someone needs to go to jail.
I don't care if the release is kind of botched, I'm still gonna buy it.
According the times listed at Sitcoms Online, most all of these episodes run a little more than 25 min. apiece - which would make them the original broadcast versions. The exception is the episode "Only the Lonely," where the entire sequence of Ruth singing "The Banana Boat Song" has apparently been cut, making the episode about a min. shorter. It was one of the funniest fucking bits on the show, too. This music clearance shit is getting ri-goddamn-diculous.Originally Posted by Marshall Crist
