It's in my top 3 Dark Sky Films releases... and it looks great upscaled on my Sony Bravia.

Yeh, but I can see where James is coming from. I like bad movies, but this was in a different zone at times. My partner and me had to stop the DVD half way through and have a chat about something else for a bit as our minds were beginning to melt. I'd read the warnings on the thread here, so I went in expecting the worst, but nothing could really prepare me.

I recently plucked up the courage to watch it a second time and had a slightly better time with it. The thing that gets me is the way it adopts the tone of a bad children's drama about half way through. And that it really doesn't make any sense whatsoever. And the acting. God, the acting. And that, erm, "twist" at the end.

    Essential viewing.

I bought the DVD a couple years ago and still havent opened it. But I did manage to find the Direct VHS, the one with totally misleading picture of a guy strangling the girl with a wire on the front, for a dollar. When I watched it, it was truly mind warping at the time.

I'm going to check it out again for sure because I just couldn't take in all the insanity at once.

If anyone is still looking to secure a reasonably-priced copy of the SOUND OF HOLLYWOOD GIRLS album (see posts #21 and onward) it looks like some sellers on Amazon UK might have some old stock. http://www.amazon.co.uk/Sound-Hollyw...ollywood+girls

    It's a fucking great album.

Well, fucking hell, I got "The Sound of Hollywood - Girls" in the mail from an Amazon UK marketplace seller, and it some kind of god damned single with two songs from the album. What a fucking rip-off. My sincere apologies if anyone else is in the same boat. Fuck.

Hey, the SOUND OF HOLLYWOOD GIRLS LP is now on iTunes. It's all the original songs plus some extra ones. I downloaded it and it plays the songs in a different order than listed on the site, which is also a different order than the original LP. Sounds mastered off vinyl. The song "Twilight Zone" by Soloman Kane has at least two "skips" in it.
