Recently released, the movie sounds pretty interesting. Alot of Wong Jing bashers seem to hate it because of his involvement, but that tells me nothing about the movie itself. Opinions?

It's Shaw Brothers vet Lau Chia Liang doing Mr. Vampire. The dvd looks good and it's a fun flick if you like the Mr.Vampire films.

Thanks guys. I actually didn't know this was a comedy. So here's another question for ya: is this a movie about a cat monster/demon...or is it about people running around possessed acting like cats (which sounds kinda stupid)?

I wouldn't call it a comedy. As I said, if you've seen Mr. Vampire, it's more along those lines. There are a few times that people are running around possesed, but it's done serious. When the demon cat appears, it's not bad make-up wise. And the scene where the demon takes on a police station at night is pretty good. Considering the dvd is about $4, it's worth a look for sure.
