Any of these worth owning on DVD?

I think SALEM'S LOT - which I have on DVD - is a superior vampire film. Plus, it's got James Mason, which is always a good thing.
I think "Salem's Lot" is a great TV horror movie and is the one I chose. "It" is also a good one, but as for the rest they are junk, imo, and are only for hardcore fans of King or any of the actors in those movies.

THE STAND and SALEM'S LOT are the only good ones there... I decided to vote for THE STAND, although both are very very good. The rest are utter trash, if you ask me, ESPECIALLY the horrible "IT".

THE STAND was great IMO, except for that ridiculous ending. Oh boy do I hate TV movies.
I liked STORM OF THE CENTURY quite a bit, which I guess makes me one of the few. I was bummed by the bits that pandered to the normally brainless TV-movie audience and the cheap, cheesy effects, but I thought overall it was quite engrossing. It kept me interested for 4 hours on a Saturday which is saying a lot (normally I'm bored with a film after the first hour).
So is this why the TV version of THE SHINING isn't on DVD?? Did everyone hate it so much? I must admit, I think Kubrick's film is FAR better, but my love for that one made me tolerate this new version fairly well. I just wish they used a less annoying Danny.... oh yeah, and didn't put that guy from "Wings" in the lead role. SHEESH!!!!

The only Stephen King TV mini series I really care about is Salem's Lot, which I think is the best of the SK made for tv long films.

THE SHINING is coming to DVD next year. The reason for the delay is due to rights involving the Kubrick version.
I voted for IT.

One Stephen King book I doubt will be a TV mini-series is Gerald's Game.
