Would anyone have a Factory Sealed DVD copy of either of these 'Bastardized Docs'. The first one "Okie Noodling", is a bunch of good ole' southern boys 'fishing' for these huge freshwater Catfish with nothing but their fingers as bait! And the other DVD title is a sizzling Doc that features a bunch of willing Car customers that are willing to go above and beyond the minds endurance limit to get awarded and win a Brand New vehicle!. I can throw you either some cash roll, or I have a huge storefront of Out of Production DVD titles that caters to every and all DVD movie wants. Thank You! Hope someone can really help me out, I promise to make it worth your time and energy!

I never thought I would talk to someone else who has actually seen Hands On A Hard Body. I love unusual documentaries and I rented this one on VHS around 2001-2002. I watched it two or three times because I thought it was so good. For those of you who haven't seen it, it's a documentary shot on VHS about a yearly contest that takes place somewhere in the US, where contestants have to keep at least one of their hands on a hard-body pickup truck. Whoever can keep their hand on the truck the longest wins the truck. And this contest goes on for DAYS! If you take your hand off the truck to wipe your nose, BANG - you're out of the contest. As I recall there was one young guy who dropped out of the contest because he started hearing voices. Another woman - a super-religious woman - starts flipping out and clapping her hands midway through because she believes The Holy Ghost is talking to her. This is a great film for fans of "the-truth-is-stranger-than-fiction" type of docs, like Heavy Metal Parking Lot.
Debbie - if I come across this one I will let you know. Was this released on dvd? Damn - I'd like to have a copy for myself!

Bill- Yes, "Hands on the Hard Body" has been released onto DVD format, and has been very difficult to locate, putting it mildly! It's one of those 'Docs' that truly draws you into the plight of the 'characters', almost as if you were next to them with your hands extended onto the vehicle's hood, it's that 'close' of a well lensed Documentary. It's nice to hear that someone else not only knows about it, but also is a huge fan too! I'd be very willing to trade-up some decent titles for a shot of that unheralded gem of a quiet DVD treasure. Have you seen 'Slasher', it focuses on the Car business also, and I'll leave it at that! "Okie Noodling" is another strong Doc. that's extremely enjoyable to watch, from opening to closing credits! Hope someone can find these two fine Documentaries for me, I'll sure make it worth them finding it for me, "I'll make em' an offer, they can't refuse"- All apologies to "The Godfather" and Mario Puzzo!

I've owned about a dozen copies of Hands on a Hardbody on DVD. Sold them all for an average of $80 each. A fun movie. In the final moments of the film, there is a moment that makes the Atheist in me squeal with delight. Great movie. I should have kept one for myself.
