I've just completed a series of posters for Darren Ward's British gangster flick A DAY OF VIOLENCE.

You can see them on my silverferox blog here: http://silverferox.blogspot.com/search/label/A%20DAY%20OF%20VIOLENCE

I have done nine in all for a new online campaign for the UK DVD release and for the upcoming AFM. Two are Japanese style versions for the international market.
Not for the squeamish!

Excellent posters, my girlfriend would never let me put up any of those which is a good grade. But, that chainsaw, isnt that false advertising? As far as I can recall, there never was any chainsaw violence... :)

I reviewed it here: http://rubbermonsterfetishism.blogspot.com/2010/09/day-of-violence-2009.html

Not passing the GF seal of approval is one of my yardsticks too.

At the 1 hour mark, the character Chisel goes into the tool room and opens the crate with the chainsaw inside ('Ello, Darlin') but before he gets a chance to use it...
I won't spoil the moment, suffice to say that it is there so on the poster it went. When it comes to poster art, I always condone exploitation in any event.

I bought Darren Ward's A DAY OF VIOLENCE dvd when first released
It's brilliant and gory
Even Giovanni Lombardo Radice has a bit part in it
Excellent Brit thriller
