View Full Version : Cemetery Dance - the magazine

I'm starting to catch up on my reading, and I've rediscovered this exceptional magazine. It's horror fiction and some columns by various writers, and it's mildly addictive. I'm reading an issue from 1993, when it published bi-annually. Now it's quarterly, and well worth the $6.00 they are going for at the Cemetery Dance website. I like the blend of fiction and non-fiction, with lots of reviews of books primarily. I'm glad to see they are still going strong after almost 20 years. I think most of the issues I have are from the 90's; I have 18 left to read, or reread as the case may be. Still, if you are into horror short fiction, this is highly recommended.

Excellent magazine, but it's chronically, woefully out-of-date by the time it arrives in my mailbox. Chizmar and company have been trying to correct this, though, in addition to giving the mag a much needed - and very well done - facelift. I just hope it starts to come out on a more timely basis in the near future. My favorite part of every issue has to be Tom Monteleone's "Mothers and Fathers Italian Association" column.
