Not really gialli, but I really enjoyed these two VHS gems:
Fulci's ONE ON TOP OF EACH OTHER (1969) - available as an excellent print at Exploited Video. You would never know it was Fulci (no gore), but great characters, great twisty plot and a swingin score! Highly recommended.
Ercoli's FORBIDDEN PHOTOS OF A LADY ABOVE SUSPICION (1970) - available as an excellent Redemption WS print at European Cult Video. Very stylish and decadent. Solid story, very strong acting from a true femme fatalle (Susan Scott aka Nieves Navarro), and a tasty ending.
Forbidden photos seems to be somewhat known, but this obscure Fulci is quite a find! I have never heard anyone mention it.

I've heard it mentioned before but have yet to see it. I'd like to though, sounds like it'd be pretty good. :)

Oh God, how I adore FORBIDDEN PHOTOS! It's such a truly amazing film. Sure, if you expect to see an Argento-style slasher giallo then you might get disappointed as this giallo is not about gore or too much murder. But if you like a little sleazy cat and mouse game, then this one sure delivers. A classic, sexy giallo mystery scripted by Ernesto Gastaldi.
Susan Scott and Dagmar Lassander are both terrific in their roles. Not really too much nudity but the film is nevertheless full of sexual tension, thanks largely to these wonderful actresses, who really prove that you don't have to get naked to be sexy; it's all in the attitude.
Also, FORBIDDEN PHOTOS has one of my all time favorite Morricone scores, which fits perfectly to the film's mood. And to top it all off, this is just about the greatest early 70s retro fashion show out there. Throughout the film's 92 minute running time, Lassander and Scott appear in nearly all the scenes and they wear different costumes in each scene. Mini-skirts, pastel-colored dresses, revealing cleavages, funky sunglasses, cool hats etc. And even lots of wigs! I particularly love the blonde wig Dagmar puts on in a disco sequence.
FORBIDDEN PHOTOS is one delirious giallo you can't afford to miss! It's rather unbelievable that Salvation has so many great gialli out on VHS (FIFTH CORD, IN THE FOLDS OF THE FLESH, PYJAMA GIRL CASE etc) and that they never put any of these great titles out on DVD. I'd much rather they released these giallo classics, than the cheap "gothic" porno films they're currently putting out.

ONE ON TOP OF THE OTHER is an excellent Fulci film, incredibly stylish and experiemntal and with a good cast (Jean Sorel, Marisa Mell, Faith Domergue, John Ireland, Riccardo Cucciolla, etc). The film also boasts a tremendous jazz soundtrack by Riz Ortolani. Recommended.

Yes, this Fulci film is very effective. I loved the choice of cast. Jean Sorel is always wonderful as is Marisa Mell. The lack of gore doesn't hurt the film either. It actually works well without the usual violence that accompanies this type of film. I have to agree on the soundtrack as well. It is pretty swingin! :) Thats one of the best parts of these Italian films of the 60s and 70s. You really can never beat the score! I thrive on music like that! So, I do recommend looking One On Top of the Other up. Many companies sell decent dub copies of it. Again, I recommend my buddy Brian at www.trashpalace.com. There you don't only get the film, but the soundtrack if you want it!
