View Full Version : How Often Do You Exercise?

Just curious, when you aren't plopped down in front of the boob tube watching dvds, what (if anything) do you do to keep in shape?
I try to work out at the gym about 3 to 4 times a week.

I play soccer once a week during the season (may-september, I play sort of like sweeper/fullback/wingback/defensive innermidfield/ offensive/defensive right midfield/forward/striker combo, wherever Im neded) and train once a week year round (not including matches). I felt that now when Im getting alittle older I should cut down, to avoid getting injured or such, so Ive went down from the 4th division to the 6th division. But its more of an excerise deal anyways from like the 3rd division and downwards so its more to keep in shape than anything else)
Ive never been the gym type. Everything from the disgusting eurotechno music thats blasting out of every speaker to all the fitness crazed people just doesnt go down with me.
Oh, yeah, I forgot to mention, I walk pretty much everywhere, since I live in the city, work in the city and do everything else in the city.

I refuse to pay money to exercise.I bike and run(yep, even though I smoke...it makes it interesting)in my neighborhood.Do situps, pushups, chinups, and lift a few weights at home.

My main exercise comes by walking, which I do a few times a day.

I do a lot of walking too, just about every day.

I work out 4-5 days a week (weights and cardio).

If I start feelin' soft, I'll work out everyday like a deranged lunatic. When I'm in good shape, I gradually get more and more lazy until it's lunatic time again.
I actually eat pretty healthy too, but this is all stuff I don't want you guys to know.

I'll work out everyday for a few months, eat healthy, blah blah, but then i just get lazy, sit on my ass and eat french fries and gravy, drink beer and smoke cigarettes. Then i'll notice my gut getting bigger, and i work out for a few months, etc.
Doesn't matter. I have the same build that i've had since i was 17, so screw it.

Smoking and screwing. (Though not necessarily in that order.)

I'm more or less just a gelatinous blob at this point. I need to exercise, but I have absolutely no drive whatsoever.
I don't smoke, I don't drink excesively (one or two a week on average), but I eat way too much crap.

I've been undergoing a physical therapy program since 1995.Thankfully I have been able to do it without being overseen by the health nazis, er, physical therapists for several years now.But it is everyday unless I am physically unable to do it.
Laziness is not an option or a luxury I can afford.

I try a couple times a week. swimming is my main workout so I have to have a club. I live right behind a really good club that I have finally joined(indoor and outdoor pool), It is kind of expensive but I can just walk over and swim anytime. Durning the summer I ride my bike as much as I can and rollerblade every now and again.

Well, acording to the BMI test my wife had me do today Im not just alittle chubby, Im OBESE! which ofcourse is a crock of shit.
I weight 90kilograms and Im 178centimetres tall, but if I would drop 10 kilos in weight like they want me to Id be anorexic. (or how the f*** you spell it)
These health nazis are becoming a pain in the ass.

I hit the freeweights pretty hard 4-5 days a week. I only do cardio once a week(maybe more during summer). I'm a certified personal trainer, but i usually only take on 1 or 2 clients at a time because of my regular day job.

I've been jogging two miles a day for the past couple of months now and I have lost a whopping 23 pounds. I'm down to 182, 7 more pounds to go and I will have achieved my desired goal. Wrestling women in our underwear is lots of fun as well. :)
