I need closure dammit!

The Semi-finals were very close, so I've decided to go for an all out smackdown to determine once and for all who the top prog rock group of all time will be.

After this Fred, I'll shut up. I promise. :D

Genesis. Tony Banks is a genius, nuff said. Anyone heard his classical suite "Seven" on the Naxos label? Supposedly influenced by composer Gerald Finzi, whom I like very much.

I like all these bands and own a substantial chunk of each one's back catalog. However, I would give my final vote to Pink Floyd - they're the most accessible, the most consistent and have stayed the truest to their musical mandate to these ears.
