i'm curious, i mean you can buy booze at duty free shops so i assume i could stick a 12 pack in my suitcase.

I think it depends. Are you crossing borders? I know that i can do it here if i'm going to the states and staying for a certain amount of time. The problem seems to be that you have to check your baggage before you get to the area where the duty-free shop is. In the few airports i've been to, anyhow.

I've brought wine and scotch on planes before in checked luggage and never had a problem.

My wife and I got a bottle of Frangelica for a wedding present. Packed in our luggage, between NJ and Bermuda, half of it magically disappeard.

Maybe but it might explode and soak your stuff. Wouldn't take the risk... :eek:

I once had seven bottles of Absinth
in me luggage, all different brands.....That was nice.

Lasted seven weeks..

Yeah, totally - just pack the hell outta it, give a good brew the good cushion it deserves (assuming that that's a good brew - it's tough for us here in Beervana since our standards are soooo freakin' high...)
