English bluesman, does rock a la Hendrix, sans the avante experimental stuff. Came through Portland at the Roseland earlier this week and put on a good show.

What say you? Any fans on the board?

Loved Bridge of Sighs, For Earth Below and Long Misty Days. Still trying to find the latter on cd.

I don't really listen to him, but I thought briefly of him when i walked over the Bridge of Sighs last March.

Ditto Gary's remarks. Saw him live in the late 80's. Ugliest "Jam Face" in rock. The man feels the stank.

His guitar face is pretty tweaky...we nicknamed him fish face because of it.

A really lyrical player, a pretty rare commodity with 70s guitar players, imo.

Very appropriate!
