Click here (http://www.dedbugs.com/hear.htm) to listen to one of my favorite bands from The Lou. They are named the DED BUGS. They are Ramones influenced poppy-punk. They recently just got off a 2 week tour of Japan.

They are also the band that influenced my forum nickname of BUSTERFACE. They recorded a song with that same title back in the early 90's.

Anyway give me your thoughts on this very fun band made up of great guys!

Oh, I forgot to mention. Wicked Pixel Cinema helped produce a video for the Ded Bugs for their song Band on Tour.

Here (http://www.dedbugs.com/photos.htm) is a link to that video. 2 of my kids are in the kid band in the video.

I was typing the title of this thread while trying to hide the fact that I was not working. My boss was hovering around me all morning.

Weinerface!

Anyway, did you check out the site? The music? The video?

Not yet. I got distracted by a co-worker's panty cakes and I need to move to a work station with speakers. But I will. If it's good enough for Busterface it's good enough for Toy Boy - speaking of which: I saw one of the dudes collects toys, which, as we all know, is the coolest thing to collect.

Actually they all collect toys, listen to Motorhead (way before it was cool) and love The Ramones.

Which makes them ULTRA-COOL!

Almost too poppy for my taste but given their subject matter it fits. Great hooks. Thanks for sharing.

I like it, but it was predictable, after all they are Ramones influenced.

I don't like pop-punk much, but they do what they do well.

It's like the the French New Wave raped the Arthouse and gave birth to silliness.

Was the opening riffs supposed to remind me of The Vapors "Turning Japanese"?

I haven't checked out the band yet but I just wanted to say that Busterface is 'one my favorite posters' here. He rukes!

A Germanic-themed one, no less! Where folks wear Bava-derived, S&M outer space leather fetish outfits!
