Can you blame me?

Nope, Can't blame you at all.
I used to work at a used record store and Testament did a meet and greet there. I got into work went into the office and it was filled with a bunch metal lookin' dudes who I thought were assistants for the band. I went over to the trade counter and told my metalhead co-worker "John, there's a really big fuckin' indian guy in the office." He laghed and exclaimed "That's the singer!" Turned out, Chuck Billy, this huge, intimidating guy is totally nice and polite and shit. Since then, I've called him "the big, scary, nice guy."

Side Note: I was looking forward to getting Dave Lombardo to sign my Fantomas CD, since Mike Patton had about a week prior when Mr. Bungle just walked in and shopped for an hour or so, but he stayed at the hotel with his family. Oh well.

I got to hang out with him (and Testament) on their tour bus in college. Got baked and drunk and played cards. Keep asking me if I needed anything when he got up. He was the absoulte nicest person you'd ever want to meet. And yes he is a big man.

Chuck Billy is awesome. I met him when they were touring for "Souls of Black" and he was super nice. I'm also a fan of his short mic stand.

Never was a real big fan of Testament, but I have met Chuck, and like everyone else said, he is indeed a nice guy...That goes a long way with me...

Was Alex Skolnick in the band at that time?

Yep, he came out for a while, but mostly stayed in his bunk and did Lord-knows-what. He was real nice though. Itt was on the Souls of Black tour with Slayer.

Oh yeah, and Chuck went out back for a bit and when he came back to the table he said to me "there's a chick out back who gives pretty good head if you want some". Needless to say what I did.

This is funny. I'm not really a fan of them either, but one time when I was 15 Chuck Billy shared his beer with me in the parking lot after their show. Because of this he owns a small piece of my heart too.
