I bought a new "moutain" bike last week. Took it out this afternoon for the first time. I was winded in two minutes. That's just sad.

I rode a bike well in to my early twenties but stopped when I let work and other things take over. I'm now 34 and feel every bit of it after a 30 minute ride.

If anything my new purchase is a much needed wake up call.

Wheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeezzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz............

Round is a shape, sweetums. What made you buy the bike? Any particular reason?

I was thinking about purchasing my first mountain bike. I've only had bmx bikes. Never owned a Huffy. I have a Trek that I've been borrowing for well over a year now. I should probably buy my own or just throw some cash at the owner and keep it forever. It's pretty sweet.

I've been wanting a bike for a couple of years now.

I picked this particular bike more for economical reasons than anything else, we received a new one in at work (Pawn Shop) and I nabbed it for $59.00 after taxes. A damn fine value for the money.
I'm sure there are much better bikes around but for now I am pleased with what I have.
Lance Armstrong I'm not.

Same here. Rode that Diamond Back for a long ass time.

The gears on the Huffy are new to me. It's going to take some getting used to.

I'm 6'3" and clock in at 245. I'm not obese but I am overweight but more than that I am just physically out of shape. Much more so than I feared.

You can afford to go to a gym. Why don't you go and run on the treadmill and stare at the women's nice asses? It's a good time!

There's a big difference between 5'9 and 6'0. Don't they have measuring tapes where you live? I guess all those cookies and cake have messed with your mind! :D

cycling is the best exercise 'cause it's fun and it's habit forming. I need to get back into it myself -

Chilly D. got a new bike, I got a new skateboard. We're not much different than 12 year olds.
