At the time being, Buster Keaton.

Keaton. No question.

Definitely, Keaton, followed by about a dozen other (primarily) silent film comedians, followed by Chaplin.
Although he widely is regarded as THE master of silent film comedy, I've always found Chaplin somewhat pretentious and precious with a tendency toward contrived sentimentality.

Chaplin; but Keaton is very close behind. I used to love Lloyd, but I haven't seen his material in a long, long time.

I'd say Keaton, then Chaplin, then Lloyd. I love Lloyd actually, but in this company he can only be 3rd. -4th actually, because L&H would be 1st. :)

There's absolutely no point in me voting in this poll...I love all three equally, for different reasons. Apples and oranges and pears, ya know.
