View Full Version : Have Shriek Show dropped prices on "defective" titles?

I ask because I saw SLAUGHTER HOTEL and FACELESS at Suncoast for 14.95 each, whereas all of their other titles are 19.95, cept for the 9.95 DELIRIUM discs of course. Curious.

Maybe it's just that particular retailer? Looking at some SS titles on the Poker Industries site (Faceless, Tenement, All the Colors of the Dark), they are all 14 bucks.
An interesting question though...maybe these titles you saw cheaper had been returned....

those titles have always been priced that at the local Suncoast here.

I think a more appropriate question would be "Has Shriek Show actually gotten off their collective asses and fixed the errors in their defective titles, reauthored and repressed them, and offered free exchanges to all the unfortunate fans who purchased these titles?"
And I suspect the answer to that will forever remain "What, are you on crack?"
You'd think they'd at least hire someone who could spell, because the myriad of typos plaguing Shriek Show releases make them look even more unprofessional than their often defective product. One of their releases proudly displays "ANIMORPHIC" at the top.
I know, I know, many might say I'm being too harsh, that we should be thankful they release these obscurities in the first place...but that's what makes me doubly frustrated, is that, since they're going to the trouble, they might as well MAKE SURE IT'S DONE RIGHT, at least 80% of the time, anyway. Is that too much to ask? Because if they don't do it right, nobody else will probably bother releasing some of these titles in a gazillion years, and the chance will be gone.
