I am thinkng of getting CANDY GOES TO HOLLYWOOD because of its underworld connections to my State. VCX has it on DVD.

Is this a good disc with a nice transfer or is it just "mastered" from a 1980s analog video master, used to make the VHSs, and with no chapeter stops?

What is the VCX track record?

Better still, can someone post a couple of "clean" screen caps?

Since this is the only company handling CANDY GOES TO HOLLYWOOD I guess I don't have much of a choice.

Thanks in advance.

In general the VCX dvd's are just transfers from a vhs tape. Most of them have all the problems associated with vhs tapes, such as drop outs, audio hiss, and poor video quality. I have seen several VCX dvd's and they are all the same quality as a vhs, and some are the quality of a 20 year old vhs tape. I can't speak for Candy Goes To Hollywood, but it's probably much the same. If you don't mind vhs quality it should be ok.

The ones I've seen have been piss poor. They are indeed VHS quality and to add insult to injury, many are censored compared to the early 1980s original VHS releases.

The DVDs from VCX are no great shakes.

I think CANDY GOES TO HOLLYWOOD is available for rental from BushDVD.com -- the porno version of NetFlix.

VCX has been hit or miss qualitywise.
